Positive Liberty is hosting their first annual Backyard Benefit and us folks at Artist Home will be there with bells on.  Come and enjoy good food, music and local beer all for a good cause.  All proceeds from Backyard Benefit will go directly to the 2009 participating woman’s organizations:

Girls On the Run www.girlsontherun.org,

Dress For Success www.dressforsuccess.org,

New Traditions www.new-traditions.org, and

Positive Liberty www.positiveliberty.org.

$10 gets you in the gates, beers $4 ($1 of which goes to benefit the participating organizations). Kids are also welcome.  Artists performing at this years benefit include Portland’s wonderful, Kelli Schaefer, and the singer for Indian Valley Line, Bubba Sur

2009 Fremont Fair / Solstice Parade Launch Party!

Solstice Weekend is just about our favorite time of the year in Seattle.  The city shuts down, and everyone converges on Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood to enjoy the worlds most amazing parade, naked bicyclers, and 2 days of live music, food, beer gardens, and wonderful art.  We’re happy to be involved with the High Dive in putting one of our amazing bands, Birds and Batteries, on their anual pre-solstice day launch party.   So if you are in the Seattle area, and want to get the party started right, come on down and join us for a celebratory pint at the High Dive.   See you there!
