DOE BAY FEST 2011

The time of year is quickly approaching when we get the pleasure to sift through hundreds of submissions for Doe Bay Fest and begin the process of putting together the most amazing weekend (lets face it, it will be an entire week) of the year.

We here at Artist Home and the staff at Doe Bay take pride in having an open submission process in which the artists aren’t forced to go through any sort of “pay to apply” process.   We will take the time to listen to every submission and take every band that has gone out of their way to email us into consideration.    Here’s what to do!

DO

Send an email submission to – dbfest@artisthomebooking.com

• please include a link to your epk
• feel free to include any information you think we should know about your band and your recent history
• got links to videos?  those are fun (not necessary)

DO NOT

• attach any large files like MP3′s, Hi Res Photos, etc
• send multiple emails or additional emails to the staff at Doe Bay or individuals at Artist Home.  Please respect our process

Other important information

• Did you know you can play at the Doe Bay resort throughout the year?  YES!  You can play in the Doe Bay cafe and can shoot them an email to find out more about it – doebayvolunteers@gmail.com
• Artist who play at Doe Bay Fest do so with the understanding that they will be camping throughout their stay there and subject to perform at the time and day selected by the organizers. Please keep this in mind.
• The best way to know when tickets go on sale is to sign up for the Doe Bay Newsletter!

• SUBMISSIONS WILL BE OPEN UNTIL THE END OF APRIL 2011.  However, there is a chance the festival may be completely booked before then so the earlier you submit the better.
